This Vale Dona Maria is a seriously elegant wine, driven by Touriga Nacional and Aragonez. The touch of Baga and Touriga Franca adds a lovely layer of complexity – you’ll pick up notes of dark cherries and black plums, beautifully enhanced by the time spent ageing in used French oak barrels. It’s a concentrated, vibrant wine with a welcome burst of acidity, and would be fantastic with a hearty roast.
