The Ribeira do Corso red wine, crafted from a harmonious blend of grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca, displays an engaging ruby colour. On the nose it offers a seductive aroma of red and black fruit, mineral notes, "china ink" and a subtle hint of chocolate. On the palate it stands out for its freshness mellowed by round tannins, balanced acidity that culminates in an elegant, extended finish. A century ago, the Mirandese Plateau became a centre of wine excellence. Since 1959 the Ribadouro Agricultural Cooperative has distinguished itself in this journey.
