Sonsierra produces this intense, complex white using the native and most characteristic Rioja grape: Viura. They don’t blend it with any other variety because they fully trust the quality of their own fruit. It’s one of the smallest production wines in the cellar, and fermentation in oak barrels gives it a silky texture and pleasant aromas reminiscent of pastry cream.
