The Alto vineyard is situated in the centre of Tapada de Coelheiros, on a gentle slope, surrounded by a walnut orchard, a meadow and a grove of mild pines that inspire the wine’s label. The soils are of granitic origin, deep and clay‑rich, which is why this area hosts the largest plantings of white grape varieties—particularly Arinto, the variety that gives rise to this wine.
