This Trás-os-Montes Reserva possesses a wonderfully robust character, hinting at a life well-lived amongst the schistous soils. The blend of Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca delivers a nose of floral notes alongside the classic red fruit reminiscent of a truly excellent Mirandês roast. On the palate, firm tannins and vibrant acidity combine beautifully with a generous core of fruit – a wine clearly built for comfort, ideally paired with a hearty Transmontano bean stew or, perhaps, a perfectly executed Bacalhau à Brás.
