“From Rozès in the Douro, this wine certainly delivers a tropical surprise – think vibrant pineapple and mango notes. It’s no surprise it impressed the judges at the Decanter World Wine Awards in 2013, particularly considering the blend of Viosinho, Gouveio, Códega, Malvasia Fina and Rabigato. Perhaps the Douro’s unique terroir is to blame for this complexity, or maybe the winemakers’ dedication to keeping the grape skins in during stainless steel aging. Definitely a wine that’s pleasing to the palate, and would pair beautifully with a grilled fish.”
