This Sado wine bursts with vibrant ruby colour and a rush of red and black fruit – a clear reflection of the region’s distinctive, saline terroir. Predominantly made with Trincadeira and Aragonez, it’s cleverly underpinned by the iconic Alfrocheiro, adding a welcome herbaceous note to balance the Cabernet Sauvignon’s power. It’s a remarkably smooth and lingering wine – absolutely ideal with a generous portion of Bacalhau à Brás, where its acidity will really sing.
