Titan of Beira Interior Indiegente Touriga Nacional Red comes from vineyard plots located at 700 metres altitude, on granite soils. After a 10‑month period in stainless steel and 12 months in French oak barrels, it reveals the full expression of Touriga Nacional at altitude. It displays a very intense violet colour and a nose marked by mineral notes, fresh fruit (sloe, blackberries and cherries), orange blossom, and balsamic and smoky nuances. On the palate it is fresh, with silky yet challenging tannins. Luis Leocádio is a Duranense oenologist passionate about the authenticity of Portuguese wine. With an approach that combines tradition and innovation, he created the Titan brand, an expression of his personal vision of the Douro region, Távora‑Varosa and Beira Interior. Made from old‑vine plots at altitude and with minimal intervention, Titan wines reflect freshness, elegance and identity, revealing the unique character of the native grape varieties and the terroir that gives them origin.
