Because of its meticulous production and long ageing, this wine has always been considered “much more than a vintage.” For that reason the riverside cellar decided to dispense with that classification and name it Valduero 2 Maderas, referring to the two types of barrels used in its ageing, chosen to match the character of the harvest. The house’s “youngest of the reserves,” as they like to call it at Valduero, is a red wine with fruity, balsamic and spicy aromas, solid structure and a pleasant mouthfeel. Available in 1.5‑litre format.
