This wine, hailing from the ancient vineyards of Tua, delivers a seriously intense experience. Expect smoky, austere notes alongside ripe, dried fruit – a clear indication of a vineyard with plenty of character. Those firm, yet surprisingly smooth tannins suggest a powerful body, ideally suited to tackling a hearty steak on the barbecue. Harvested late, but with thankfully kind weather in 2010, it’s packed with flavour and boasts a long, lingering finish – a real showstopper!
