This Douro rosé, hailing from vineyards within the “Integração” program, clearly had a rather demanding upbringing. Harvested with a touch of youthful intensity – think 22kg cases and immediate chilling – it suggests the robust nature of the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Aragonez grapes were perhaps… gently brought under control. The result is a remarkably elegant and refreshing wine, showcasing the Douro’s characteristic strength in a beautifully restrained manner. Ideal paired with grilled fish or creamy cheeses.
