Born from the heart of the Ribeira do Aguiar vineyards, under the watchful eye of the royal eagle, comes “Vinho da Urze”. This red, primarily crafted with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Aragonez, has benefited from aging in French oak barrels, adding a layer of complexity. The eastern-facing exposure and the distinctive xisto-rich soils – remnants of an ancient Roman quarry – contribute a remarkable freshness and elegance. A truly impressive wine, ideally paired with a hearty beef dish or even a succulent lamb roast, as Rui Roboredo Madeira himself would suggest.
