This Bical and Arinto from Bairrada – a wine produced by a cooperative that’s already made this region a name to reckon with – is quite the showstopper. With nearly 70 million kilos of grapes harvested annually, it’s a testament to the region’s potential, a fact seemingly acknowledged by a rather convivial crowd of around 700 people. It’s widely credited with driving a significant portion of DOC Bairrada sales, a performance that certainly puts it at the helm of the market. Absolutely brilliant with seafood and, of course, a healthy dose of good company.
