This Pica Pau Reserva arrives with a colour that certainly delivers – a deep ruby that practically begs to be tasted. The nose reveals a surprising richness, with the fully ripened Alicante Bouschet plums mingling beautifully with the floral notes of Touriga Nacional, and the subtle spice picked up during its oak ageing. On the palate, the complexity is a genuine pleasure, with smooth, mature tannins caressing the mouth. Absolutely brilliant with a slow-roasted meat or a hearty paella.
