CARM, an acronym for Casa Agrícola Roboredo Madeira, is a family business with a long tradition in the Douro Superior, with historical roots dating back to the 17th century. Its production focuses on wines, olive oils, and other gourmet products, made exclusively from grapes and olives from its own estates. History and Terroir Origins: The history of the Roboredo Madeira family has been linked to agriculture in the Douro Superior region for several generations. The company was founded to formalize this connection and elevate production to a higher level. Location: CARM's estates, which include 200 hectares of vineyards and 220 hectares of olive groves, are located in the area of Almendra, in the Douro Superior. This area is part of the Vale do Côa Archaeological Reserve, a region known for its ideal conditions for the production of high-quality wines and olive oils.
