This generous Madeira wine, very old and classified as “Frasqueira,” is part of the wine estate of the family that owns this firm. It is produced from noble grapes harvested in years of great quality and excellent yield, sourced from the finest vineyards on Madeira Island. Before bottling, it benefited from a long maturation in old oak barrels at the recommended temperature in the warehouses of this century‑old company. As a result, it evolved into a distinctive Madeira, thanks to its grape variety, and achieved a high level of structure, aroma, and breadth on the palate.
