This Les Terrasses is a wine that clearly considered its own creation. The dry 2016 vintage intensely concentrated the grapes, resulting in remarkably tight tannins and a vibrant minerality reminiscent of road dust – a signature of the Priorat terroir. The Cariñena contributes its characteristic subtle mineral notes, while the Grenache ensures a pleasing juiciness. Definitely a wine best enjoyed with a hearty red beef stew to tame its intensity.
