Likely a consequence of that superb Douro terroir. The tannins are robust and undeniably present, clearly stemming from the Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz. And that elegant, persistent acidity ensures a lovely freshness, particularly delightful alongside a hearty venison or a slow-cooked beef.
