Caballo Loco Sagrada Familia is a Chilean Grand Cru produced from Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Carménère grapes grown in the “La Primavera” vineyard, located in a valley between the mountains of Valle Sagrada Familia. Protected by fresh breezes, the wine has an elegant profile and a smooth structure that brings together the unmistakable characteristics of its grape varieties, while revealing an exceptional range of aromas and flavors. Valdivieso’s history dates back to 1879, when Don Alberto Valdivieso founded Champagne Valdivieso, becoming the first producer of sparkling wine in Chile and South America. Since then, Viña Valdivieso has established itself as a category leader in the domestic and South‑American markets, recently expanding its reach to Europe and Asia. More than a century after its founding, Valdivieso began producing still wines in the Curicó Valley. Today, with two production centers—one dedicated to all sparkling wines and another to still wines—Valdivieso is recognized worldwide, enhancing appreciation for Chilean wine. Caballo Loco was the first Chilean wine brand that, in 1994, emerged as a single red wine blending several vintages and inspired by the energetic personality of its founder, Jorge Coderch.
