This Cottas Ruby, straight from the Douro, is a wonderfully cheeky newcomer, unafraid to shake things up a bit. The Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional provide a solid structure, while the Touriga Francesa lends a delicate floral note – all underpinned by the Aragonez’s robust character and the Tinto Cão’s refreshing minerality. Expect a burst of red fruit, finishing with a lingering complexity that would pair beautifully with a good Iberian ham.
