Red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah grapes, it shows a ruby hue with violet undertones. On the nose, ripe fruit notes mingle with woody aromas from six months in French oak. On the palate it is full‑bodied, structured, and distinctly gastronomic. Domingos Damasceno de Carvalho represents the third generation of a family that has produced wine in Poceirão for over 150 years. With the goal of creating quality wines on the Setúbal Peninsula, the first Vinhos Damasceno harvest was born in 2003. Soon the brand began a push to nationalise and internationalise, and today it is found in various countries across three continents. (illustrative image only)
