Description

Liber Pater O Denarius is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, made from extremely old vines using methods common in the past. Everything is done by hand, and it is extremely scarce. On both the nose and the palate, the wine is smooth, elegant and fruity, with very good ripe fruit and strong notes of raspberry, blackberry and dark chocolate. The texture is full and velvety, in a very juicy style. The wine is still so young that we can only make an educated guess about its aging potential, but we recommend not opening a bottle before around 2021, and it should last for decades. If the Denarius follows the path of the Liber Pater, it is also an investment tip. So if you want to drink a Bordeaux in the style of 150 years ago without paying 30,000 euros for a bottle, this is the second-best option. Only in the best years are around 250 cases produced. The 2018 vintage succeeds the 2015 and will only be available in early 2021. Allergen information Contains sulphites. SKU: 105768
