This Dona Berta Reserva certainly isn't afraid to take on the challenge of the Douro Superior’s steep slopes – those 400-600 metres really make a difference! Predominantly driven by Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão, it’s boosted by the addition of Touriga Francesa and Aragonez to add a welcome layer of complexity. The judges awarded it 17 points, praising its balance and lingering finish. A fantastic pairing would be with a rich, dark pork dish – a truly satisfying experience.
