Born from Esporão’s frankly relentless pursuit of excellence, this Alentejo red is a testament to their dedication. The Herdade, nestled amongst challenging soils and incredibly diverse Reguengos de Monsaraz, manages to create a remarkably balanced wine – almost as if it’s putting on a performance. A multitude of grapes contribute to the complexity, ranging from the familiar to delightful surprises, demanding a slow savouring. Seriously, pair it with a good hunk of beef, perhaps a ribeye, to fully appreciate the nuances.
Tinto
Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trincadeira
