This Amphora from Herdade Grande is the result of incredibly meticulous hand-harvesting – you can really taste the dedication. It's a refreshingly earthy wine, deeply rooted in the Alentejo’s clay soils. Fermented in stainless steel lagares with painstaking control, it then spent 10 months in terracotta amphora, lending delightful notes of wild berries and herbaceousness – a well-deserved 88 points, indeed! A firm, dry wine with a lingering finish reminiscent of dried fruits; a truly impressive wine that pairs beautifully with game or a rich Parmesan.
