It boasts a deep ruby-violet colour and immediately signals ripe black fruit, though perhaps a touch of floral exuberance could benefit from a little restraint. On the palate, it’s a full-bodied wine with a wonderfully smooth finish, clearly demonstrating a dedication to careful skin contact – *cuvaison*. It’s fantastic with a classic Portuguese rice dish or a lighter roast chicken, or if you're feeling bold, it will stand up beautifully to a richer red meat.”
