Made from grapes grown on silty soil in the Tua Valley, this wine was hand‑picked and then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Both Celso Pereira and Jorge Alves could have been nicknamed “Quanta Terra,” but they are, in fact, the living embodiment of the label. Their partnership began in the 1990s, when they first met while working together in the Enology Department of the Transmontan Caves, and a professional camaraderie quickly evolved into a solid foundation for what would become Quanta Terra—a concept that, at the time, was still just an idea.
