This Reserva from Quinta da Esperança, grown in the Alentejo with Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and the elegant Touriga Francesa, offers a truly orchestrated start – fermentation took place between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. After nine months aging in French oak barrels, the wine unfurls with a vibrant red hue, presenting fresh red fruit aromas enhanced by a subtle spicy note, as if a little pepper had taken a dance in the cellar. A structured wine with a persistent finish, this is particularly lovely paired with a good quality Iberian ham.
