This Lagrima from Pacheca certainly seems to have soaked up the sunshine – and perhaps a touch of honey. The golden hue hints at a wonderfully rich maturation, while the nose reveals a sweetness beautifully balanced with bright orange citrus notes, a clear indication of excellent acidity. On the palate, it’s a dense and generous wine, showcasing that luscious ripe fruit that’s perfect alongside a slice of white fruitcake or, perhaps, some fresh goat cheese.
