Quinta de Cidrô Pinot Noir is considered by many to be the best grape variety in the world, but certainly the most difficult to work with. Characterised by a small bunch, low yield and a thin, sensitive skin, this well‑known French variety has been one of the main challenges for our viticulture and oenology team since its planting in 2001. This Quinta do Cidrô example shows a different facet from the usual by combining the finesse and elegance of this Burgundy variety with the structure and minerality of the Douro. Vinification and Maturation: 100 % Pinot Noir fermented in stainless steel and aged in a used French oak barrel. Pairing: Roast goat, black truffle, veal stewed in red wine, tuna steak. Allergen information: Contains sulphites. SKU: 100396
