This Sanguinhal, boasting Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet, certainly seems to have impressed the discerning palate of Robert Parker (90 points!). The careful hand-harvesting, extended maceration, and aging – 30% new French oak – all point to a full-bodied wine with considerable structure and complexity. It’s a wine that would pair beautifully with a hearty beef roast, no doubt.
