This wine impresses with its purity and sophistication, the result of the perfect balance of the main grapes at Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinto Cão. With an intense colour, it offers a journey of lively and seductive flavours and aromas, enhanced by the subtlety of French oak. It showcases a robust structure and juicy texture, finishing long and deep. Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of stunning beauty in the heart of the Douro, owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s historic ties to wine come from their long association with export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia through the cork trade, but this venture has turned a dream into reality, now steered by the fourth generation. With over 250 years of history, the estate preserves its original 1764 cellar building, renovated under the guidance of architect Arnaldo Barbosa.
