Ravasqueira Heritage Red 2017 is a tribute wine released only in exceptional years, showcasing the ultimate expression of our vineyard’s potential in harmony with the expertise we've gathered over time. It boasts a dark, dense, opaque colour and a complex, intense nose that hints at the end of barrel fermentation, featuring truffle, cedar, a touch of iodine, black olive, cocoa and an intense blend of dark and red fruit with dried figs. On the palate it delivers refined, fine tannins that build in the mid‑tasting zone, alongside balsamic freshness, meat, plums, blackberries, blueberries, and a powerful, mineral‑laden finish. It can and should be decanted, best enjoyed between 2018 and 2034.
