This Sadino Syrah from the Setúbal Peninsula has spent time in American oak barrels, lending it a pleasant smoothness and a touch of vanilla that, admittedly, leans a little heavily for such an energetic wine. Still, we can’t complain – particularly when paired with a good Portuguese chorizo. A reliable, uncomplicated choice that delivers the quality you’d expect from this producer.
