“This ‘Sagrado’ Rosé, straight from the estate, is a truly elegant and refreshing experience. Harvested entirely by hand, plot by plot, it showcases a meticulous selection of grapes – a clever blend of direct pressing (70% with Touriga Nacional and Aragonez) to retain that vital spark, and ‘vinho de sangria’ (30%) to amplify the aromatic nuances of the Douro region. The indigenous yeast fermentation keeps firmly rooted in the terroir, and the six-month ‘sur lie’ aging adds layers of complexity and a wonderfully silky texture. Wonderful with grilled fish or creamy cheeses.”
