Description

This Uniqo from the Douro is a real statement – a bold arrival of black fruit aromas, think ripe cherries, blackberries and blueberries, beautifully balanced with hints of mocha and a touch of smoke, all thanks to a careful ageing in oak. On the palate, it’s got a fantastic vibrancy and structure, finishing impressively long and, frankly, with a rather elegant finesse. Pairs wonderfully with a hearty beef roast, I’d say.
