The blend of Alfrocheiro, Alicante Bouschet, and Touriga Nacional suggests a fermentation meticulously overseen to coax out maximum flavour. Aging in a mix of French and American oak is, of course, intended to add the complexity expected of a wine aiming to make a strong impression.
