This Adega Mayor Entre Tantos is undoubtedly a well-told story. Grown on granite soils of the Alentejo and boasting vines nearly twenty years old, it presents dark cherry and black cherry aromas, a truly delightful dance. The spontaneous fermentation, aided by daily foot treading, yields a full-bodied wine with a subtle smoky note – reminiscent of a good espresso – and a structure that suggests it will only improve with age. Remarkably concentrated with a long, captivating finish, it’s a particularly special tribute – and, frankly, a wine that stands on its own merits. Perfect with a hearty pork loin or a slow-cooked beef stew.
