As you’d expect, it delivers a powerful, tannic attack alongside classic notes of blackcurrant and cedar, a clear nod to the region's historic vines. It certainly benefits from some cellaring, but rewards patience with a remarkably persistent and refined finish – seriously impressive alongside a hearty beef roast, I’d say.
