This Montes Ermos Grande Reserva clearly enjoyed a generous aging process, revealing deep notes of black cherry and cassis, whispers of Touriga Nacional. The subtle vanilla from the French and American oak adds a lovely lift, balanced by the robust structure provided by Touriga Franca. Seriously, a fantastic match with a good grilled steak – it’s a classic for a reason!
