This Ode Quarteto certainly seems to have enjoyed a bit of a luxurious upbringing. Built on Tinta Barroca, Touriga Nacional, and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet, it’s presented with an elegance hinting at careful maturation – and a full 10 months in 500L of used French oak, to be precise. Black fruit and truffle notes are definitely prominent, alongside a medium body and balanced tannins. The finish is impressively long and persistent, with tannins described as “softly dried,” promising a truly satisfying experience. Perfect with a good cut of meat, especially if you’ve got a delicious Arabic grill nearby!
