This Tawny from Pacheca is a testament to the patience of Quinta da Aveleda – aged in oak casks that have certainly seen better days, of course. The rich amber hue, a result of carefully controlled oxidation, hints at a wonderfully complex soul. Expect a burst of aromas reminiscent of Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional, a nod to tradition. Wonderful with aged cheeses and a lovely white fish, wouldn’t you say?
