The Quinta da Gingeira Reserva red wine is crafted from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela, and Tinta Roriz grapes. After alcoholic fermentation, it is transferred to French oak barrels where it ages for about nine months. It offers a concentrated aroma with lively fruit notes and subtle spice undertones. On the palate it is full-bodied, with mature tannins and a long, elegant finish. The Quinta da Gingeira wines come from the estate that gives it its name, situated on the left bank of the Douro River between Régua and Pinhão. With a privileged location in the Demarcated Douro Region, the estate has been owned by the Paiva family for over a century, although its own-branded wine production has only been on the market for 16 years.
